What is Pearl Culture??
Freshwater pearls are cultivated using fresh water mussels where nucleus/beads are implanted in the mollusc and harvested after 15-24 months. Cultured pearls are created by pearl farmers under controlled conditions. The efforts and patience required in pearl culture is worth the end results. The Pearls are the timeless gemstones that have become iconic over centuries as it is well said “ Rare Objects have More Value”.
Before starting the pearl farming, you must obtain the oysters that are to be nucleated.Nucleation is a surgical process where a foreign object is implanted inside the oyster, these foreign objects cause irritation in the oyster and a nacre layer is formed. The nacre which is secreted forms layers and produces a pearl.
At Soils pearl farms, we produce designer pearls of different shapes by grafting nuclei in freshwater molluscs. The oyster surgery is performed by our surgeons at the site where pearls are produced. Soils Pearl farms has delivered a number of successful pearl culture projects across India. Mr. Avdhesh Kumar Singh
FounderAvdhesh Kumar Singh, founder and CEO of Soils Pearl farms, is a renowned name in the pearl farming Industry. Born in Dhampur Bijnor Uttar Pradesh, he completed his MBA in Marketing and International Business in 2012. Prior to starting his business of pearl farming, he started his career as an employee in an MNC but in the core of his heart he wanted to do something in the pearl farming industry. In 2019, he dedicated himself towards culturing pearls.
Avdhesh Kumar singh is a dynamic and flamboyant person. Always enthusiastic and happy, he believes in enjoying life to the fullest. With a motto “Work hard and party harder”, he does not refrain himself from sweating in scorching heat. His hard work has paid him well and he is the topmost pearl farming businessman in India!!!
His obsession for pearl farming has always encouraged him to introduce new techniques in pearl farming. He has been involved in production of designer pearls for 4 years. With continuous efforts and research, he innovated a new form of nucleus that has a lower mortality rate. His hard work in the field of pearl farming is evident from his success. He introduced the concept of contract pearl farming in India and successfully delivered more than 10 projects.
Working with a motive to take pearl farming to all new horizons, Avdhesh Kumar singh keeps innovating his ways of work. To deal with uncertainties and making pearl farming accessible to everyone, he has launched pearl culturing in his own ponds.
